Automatic Electronic Donor Referrals Have Increased Donation

Jonathan Hewlett is the Director of Systems Intelligence at Southwest Transplant Alliance. Jonathan supports the activities, goals and objectives of the organization’s operations departments, through the management and analysis of critical donor systems data. Jonathan has OPO experience working with hospital and surgical services, tissue recovery, donor systems intelligence, and systems intelligence. Jonathan is also currently focused on the CDC mortality list reconciliation, establishing framework for system-wide gap analysis, COVID-19 tracking and trending of its impact in organ donation, and national expansion of automated electronic referrals. 

Wade Liu is the Vice President of Products at Transplant Connect. In his almost 10 years at Transplant Connect, Wade has valued collaborating with amazing Eye Bank, OPO, Transplant Center, and Tissue Banking partners to continually optimize key clinical and operational workflows via the development and evolution of modern software solutions. Prior to working at Transplant Connect, Wade worked in the Aerospace, Automotive, and IT Consulting spaces.

Fred Jordan, FSL, has been with Miracles In Sight since 2001. Fred is licensed in North Carolina and South Carolina as a Funeral Director/Embalmer. Over his many years with Miracles In Sight, Fred has fulfilled the roles of Surgical Recovery Specialist, Lab Technician, Professional Development Specialist and is now Director of Development. He currently serves as Chair of the EBAA Donor Development Committee.
