Login Information/Accessing Sessions

What is my login information?


To log into the Forum website:

• Click on the LOG IN Button at the top left cornea of the home page. You will be redirected to the EBAA log in screen.

• Enter the email address and password you used to register for the Forum.

• Note: These are the credentials you use to log into the EBAA Website. This is not your Cornea Society login information.

If you forgot your password, click "Forgot Password" to reset your login information. If you have trouble logging in, please contact Bernard@restoresight.org.

How do I access the sessions?


Registered attendees will receive access to the Cornea and Eye Banking Forum on November 6. Attendees will receive an email with detailed instructions for accessing the sessions.

To access the sessions:

• Log into the Forum website

• Access the “Program” in the top menu bar or on the home page.

• Select a Session from the Agenda and click the “View Session” button.

• Enter the live session by clicking the “Contents” tab on the “View Session” page to join the session. Attendees may enter live sessions 15 minutes prior to the session’s scheduled start time.

• Press Play on the session screen

Will the sessions be available for on-demand viewing after the event?


Yes, the sessions will be recorded and available to view on-demand one week after the event. The process will be similar to how you login for the live programs, but you will be able to view at your convenience. Access to the program content will end for all attendees on November 7, 2021.

Earning CEUs and CME

CME for Physicians


Amedco LLC designates this activity for a maximum of 5.5 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. To claim credit, physicians will need to complete the evaluation from Amedco. Certificates will be available for download once the evaluation is complete.

How do I claim my CEU credits?


Attendees can earn 5.5 CEUs for attending the Cornea and Eye Banking Forum. To claim credit, attendees must complete the survey after they have attended all of the sessions. The Forum must be viewed by December 31, 2020 to claim credit. Individual registrants will be able to view their CEUs in their EBAA online account. Please allow time for the CEUs to be added to your online account.

Can I claim partial credit for only attending certain sessions?


Physicians: Yes, please claim CME for only the sessions you attend.

CEBTs: No, individuals must attend all portions of the event to earn credit for the Forum.

I am a Certified Eye Bank Technician, what are the requirements to recertify?


CEBTs must earn 16 CEUs during the 3-year certification period, and fulfill the requirement of attending 2 of these sessions: Technical Skills & Quality Assurance Workshop, Scientific Symposium/Cornea and Eye Banking Forum, Medical Directors Symposium, and Medical Advisory Board Meeting.

Networking and Interactive Components

Will there be an opportunity to network with peers?


Yes, there will be three opportunities to network with peers:

Networking Event (8:30-9:45 am EST)- Attendees will be able to have one-on-one conversations or group discussions. Everyone who attends will be entered into a drawing for a free Cornea and Eye Banking Forum registration.

Paton Brunch Discussion (1 - 2 pm EST) - Marian Macsai, MD will moderate this physician favorite where attendees will have the opportunity to discuss clinical cases.

Eye Banker Brunch Discussion (1 - 2 pm EST) - Patricia Dahl will moderate this eye banker discussion.

Can attendees ask questions for the speakers to answer?


Yes, there will be Q&A sessions after groups of presentations. Enter your questions into the chat box and the Moderators will ask the questions if they have time.

Will the Paton Luncheon Discussion be hosted virtually this year?


Yes, Dr. Marian Macsai will moderate the Paton Brunch in Zoom Meetings room at 1pm Eastern. This session will only be available for live participation.

Can attendees who are not physicians attend the Paton Brunch?


No, the Paton Brunch Discussion is designed for physicians to discuss clinical cases among peers. We encourage our eye bank and non-physician attendees to attend the Eye Bank Brunch Discussion taking place at the same time.
