At the Annual Meeting, the "All About the Data" panel looked at several ways to present eye bank data, including Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and iTransplant. This interactive webinar picks up where that conversation ended and goes deeper into two of those tools: Power BI and Tableau.
After a short introduction, attendees will choose a breakout room for either Power BI or Tableau and see how dashboards are built and maintained. You'll hear from two perspectives: the end users who rely on dashboards to make day-to-day decisions, and the data analysts who design, build, and update them. Bring your questions. The breakout format leaves plenty of time for discussion.
This session is a good one to share with your IT staff as well as your technical staff. Whether you're thinking about adopting one of these tools or trying to get more out of the one you already use, you'll leave with practical ideas for turning your eye bank's data into clear, useful dashboards.
Who should attend: eye bank IT staff, data analysts, technical staff, quality and operations managers, and anyone who uses or produces data reports.

Adam Stockman, MBA, CEBT, began his career with Iowa Lions Eye Bank in 2003 as a part-time recovery technician and has since served in nearly every technical and operational role within the organization. In his current role as Director of Operations, Adam oversees all clinical operations departments, including Donor Eligibility, Tissue Processing, and Recovery, as well as leading ILEB's Quality Assurance and Compliance program. With over two decades of experience in eye banking, he has a passion for strategic leadership, data-driven process improvements, and has a strong commitment to quality and safety. He has led major multi-center initiatives and contributed to national standard-setting efforts. Adam is also a respected educator and mentor, known for developing strong technical teams and training programs. He is an active contributor to the Eye Bank Association of America, currently serving as Co-Vice Chair of the Accreditation Board, a member of the Medical Advisory Board and a member of the Certification Board.

Dana Owens, CEBT, is the Director of Tissue Recovery for Eversight. Dana began her healthcare career as an EMT and Medic in the United States Army. Soon after, she found her calling and purpose within the world of eye banking. Dana has been involved in eye banking as a recovery technician, recovery manager, business development, research recovery development, and distribution manager and has been the Director of Tissue Recovery since 2022. Dana currently serves as the Chair for the EBAA Technician Education Committee.
