Corneal Tissue Reimbursement Video Series

Shortfalls in reimbursement for corneal tissue by private insurance companies and Medicare Advantage carriers are a problem for eye banks and for corneal surgeons and surgery centers, ultimately threatening patient care.  EBAA has partnered with the American Academy of Ophthalmology’s reimbursement experts to develop a three-part series that provides tools and strategies for submitting clean claims, negotiating strong contracts, and preventing claim denials.

The course features three presentations:

  • Back to Basics: Submitting Clean Claims
  • Contracting Considerations
  • Preventing and Resolving Claim Denials

Watch and learn as Heather Dunn, AAO’s Coding and Reimbursement Manager, offers in-depth knowledge about ocular tissue reimbursement and offers insight into how to receive reimbursement for the tissue provided for transplant. View the course today!
