Ellen Koo, MD, is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. Dr. Koo is a Corneal specialist, with a research and clinical focus on endothelial dysfunction, keratoplasty, cataract and complex anterior segment surgeries. Dr. Koo is currently leading several clinical trials in the treatment of corneal edema and Fuchs Dystrophy as the principal investigator at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. Dr. Koo currently serves on the EBAA Accreditation Board and the Editorial Board for the Eye Banking and Corneal Transplantation Journal.
