Descemet Membrane Endothelial Keratoplasty (DMEK) Pull Through Method Under PK

Christopher S. Sales, MD, MPH, is an Assistant Medical Director and researcher for Iowa Lions Eye Bank. Dr. Sales is also an associate professor in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at Iowa Health Care at the University of Iowa. He treats patients experiencing corneal disease and ulcers, dry eye, eye infections, and red eye, and performs LASIK and laser vision correction surgery. Dr. Sales also has expertise in eye banking. His research interests include surgical ergonomics, surgical simulation training, corneal eye banking, and all things lamellar keratoplasty - especially DMEK. He is the husband to a beautiful wife, Larisa, and father of two lovely children, Edith (Edie) and Byron.
