Christopher Stoeger, MBA, CEBT, CTBS, started his career in eye and tissue banking at Transplant Services Center in Dallas in 1994. He moved to Portland in 2000 to work for Lions VisionGift, taking over as CEO in 2017. Chris has been active in the EBAA through many years of committee work. He currently serves on the Board of Directors, Medical Advisory Board, and the Accreditation Board. Chris is the co-author of many peer reviewed publications focused on safety, efficacy, efficiency, and innovation in eye banking and cornea transplantation.

​Christopher S. Ketcherside, MD

Christopher S. Ketcherside, MD, is a surgeon specializing in corneal disorders and transplant surgery as well as cataract and refractive surgery. Dr. Ketcherside completed his medical degree at the University of Missouri, his Ophthalmology residency at the University of Virginia, then completed a Cornea Fellowship at the Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Institute/University of Colorado. He has served on the Accreditation Board for the EBAA since 2011. He currently lives in Kansas City, Missouri, with his wife, Andrea, and three children Grayson, Ryann and River.
