Stephanie Cottrell is a Certified Eye Bank Technician (CEBT) and has over 20 years of experience working in the field of eye & tissue donation. Stephanie currently oversees Quality Compliance for Sierra Donor Services Eye Bank and has extensive experience with donor eligibility, auditing, regulatory and accreditation inspections. She is a certified Quality Improvement Associate through the American Society for Quality (ASC) and certified in medical coding through MTI College.
Susan Hurlbert, CEBT

Susan Hurlbert, CEBT is a Project Manager with Eversight and has over 18 years of experience in eye banking. She oversees inspection readiness, the adverse event investigation and reporting process and clinical policy development. Prior to her present role in Quality Improvement and Compliance, she performed ocular tissue recovery, evaluation, processing, and donor eligibility. She has served on a variety of EBAA committees and currently sits on the Medical Review Subcommittee, Quality Assurance Committee, and Accreditation Board.
Christina Poopatana
Quality Assurance Coordinator
The Eye-Bank for Sight Restoration
Having more than 13 years of experience in eye banking, Christina Poopatana is a Quality Assurance Coordinator for The Eye-Bank for Sight Restoration in New York City, a position she has held since 2009. She is responsible for reviewing donor charts to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and national standards and acts as liaison with medical personnel to obtain post-operative prognosis for cornea transplant recipients. She also conducts adverse reaction investigations as well as internal investigations and assists in revising the SOPs and drafting BPDRs.
Ms. Poopatana holds an MPH from The City University of New York, (CUNY) Hunter College and a BA in Natural Science from Fordham University also in New York City.

Elizabeth Ellett is the Vice President of Regulations and Compliance at Advancing Sight Network. Elizabeth received her Master of Science in healthcare administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Elizabeth holds certifications with the American Society of Quality, American Society of Clinical Pathologist, and Lean Six Sigma as a Green Belt. She has served as both lead and general auditor for CAP and AABB and is a current member of American College of Healthcare Executives.
