Richard Troutman Cornea Prize Lecture: Effects of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and Smoking on Changes in Corneal Endothelial Morphology and Cell Density

The 2023 Troutman Cornea Prize was presented to Marija Antičić-Eichwalder, for the Cornea article, Effects of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and Smoking on Changes in Corneal Endothelial Morphology and Cell Density. The Troutman Cornea Prize is bestowed annually by the Cornea Society for the paper published in Cornea during the previous year judged to be most outstanding and innovative, and authored by an investigator 40 years of age or younger.

Dr. Antičić-Eichwalder received the award and presented the Troutman Cornea Prize Lecture during the 2023 Cornea and Eye Banking Forum.

Dr. Antičić-Eichwalder is the 2023 Richard Troutman Cornea Prize Recipient.  Cornea Society awarded her the Troutman Cornea Prize for the Cornea article, Effects of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and Smoking on Changes in Corneal Endothelial Morphology and Cell Density. The article appeared in the October 22 issue of Cornea. Dr. Antičić-Eichwalder presented on her research during the 2023 Cornea and Eye Banking Forum.
