You Want Me to Do WHAT to the Tissue? Corneal Tissue Processing Basics
Preparing corneal tissue for transplant has greatly evolved throughout the years. Once considered a role for corneal surgeons, tissue processing has primarily become an eye bank function for most corneal transplant procedures. This session will feature knowledgeable eye bank professionals from various organizations who will discuss corneal tissue preparation.
Attendees will learn:
- The tissue preparation procedures offered by eye banks
- Information about DSEK and DMEK tissue preparation
- The importance of post-processing tissue evaluation
- How to determine tissue suitability for each procedure

For one fee of $50 (EBAA Member) or $150 (Non-Member), the entire organization may attend the webinar. After registration, a confirmation email will be sent with a discount code. The contact person who purchased the session should send the discount code to other staff members who may wish to attend the session. The discount code will allow staff to attend remotely for free.
Note: if an organization has multiple locations, additional registrations must be purchased for each location.
