Login Information/Accessing Sessions

What is my login information?


If you already have an EBAA account, click the LOG IN button at the top left corner of the home page. You will be redirected to the EBAA log in screen. Enter the user name and password you use to log into the EBAA Website. If you forgot your password, you can click "Forgot Password" to reset your log in information. If you have trouble logging in, please contact Bernard@restoresight.org.

How do I access the sessions?


Registered attendees will receive access to the Annual Meeting on June 7. Attendees will receive an email with detailed instructions for accessing the sessions.

To access the sessions:

• Log into the Annual Meeting website using your EBAA credentials

• Access the "Agenda" in the top menu bar or on the home page.

• Select a Session from the Agenda and click the “View Session” button.

• Enter the live session by clicking the “Contents” tab on the “View Session” page to join the session. Attendees may enter live sessions 10 minutes prior to the session’s scheduled start time.

How can I prepare for the meeting?


Log into eyeLEARN to test your credentials, review the schedule of event, and mark your calendar for the meetings and events you plan to attend. Remember all times are in EDT!

Which browser is best for viewing sessions?


For optimal use, please use only Firefox, Chrome, Edge or Safari. Internet Explorer 11 is not compatible with this virtual platform.

Will the sessions be available for on-demand viewing after the event?


Yes, the sessions will be recorded and available to view on-demand within one week following the event. The process will be similar to how you login for the live programs, but you will be able to view at your convenience. Access to the program content will end for all attendees on June 1, 2022.

Earning CEUs and CME

CME for Physicians


Amedco LLC designates this live activity for a maximum of 5.5 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians must attend the sessions on Saturday, June 12, live and should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Physicians must attend the sessions live to earn CME credit. To claim credit, physicians will need to complete the evaluation from Amedco. Certificates will be available for download once the evaluation is complete. To earn CME, you must be registered under the physician registration.

How do I earn my CEU credits?


Attendees can earn 23 CEUs for attending the entire meeting. To earn CEUs, attendees must view all on-demand content by July 30, 2021. To claim credit, attendees must complete an overall survey after they have completed the session. Once the session and survey have been completed, the credit will appear on the individual's profile in EBAA's Website. To view your credit history, log into the EBAA Member's Portal, and select "View My Credit History" from the Certification/CEU dropdown menu.

I am a Certified Eye Bank Technician, what are the requirements to recertify?


CEBTs must earn 16 CEUs during the 3-year certification period, and fulfill the requirement of attending 2 of these sessions: Technical Skills & Quality Assurance Workshop, Scientific Symposium/Cornea and Eye Banking Forum, Medical Directors Symposium, and Medical Advisory Board Meeting.

How do I access the Symposia booklet?


The Symposia booklet includes information pertaining to the sessions on June 12, including the Scientific Symposium and the Medical Directors Symposium. The scientific abstracts can be found in this booklet.

Physician Attendee Information

I am a physician. What should I plan on attending?


Physician attendees are invited to attend all of the Annual Meeting programming. The sessions that they may be most interested may be the General Sessions, the Scientific Symposium, the Physician Discussion, the Medical Directors Symposium, and the Medical Advisory Board Meeting. Additional sessions of interest may include the keynote presentations, the Technical Skills Workshop, the Corneal Tissue Evaluation session, and the Rockstar Social Hour.

I am a medical director. What should I plan on attending?


Medical Directors are invited to attend all of the Annual Meeting programming. For EBAA Eye Bank Accreditation, Medical Directors must attend the Medical Advisory Board (MAB) Meeting and Medical Directors Symposium every three years. Medical Directors are strongly encouraged to attend the MAB Meeting and Medical Directors Symposium live, but if they are unable to attend, they may view the recordings before July 31 to meet the requirements for eye bank accreditation. A proof of attendance will be provided to the Medical Director and their eye bank following the meeting.

Networking and Interactive Components

How can I network with fellow attendees?


We have designed interactive opportunities for you throughout the virtual conference. While we know nothing can truly replace face-to-face interaction, we believe you will find these opportunities to be fun, engaging, and enlightening. Individuals who attend will be eligible for drawings and prizes!

Round Table Discussions: Tuesday, June 8 (4:00 – 5:00 pm EDT)
Individuals will come together for lively discussions with peers on topics that are related to various aspect of eye banking.

Networking Happy Hour: Wednesday, June 9 ( 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm EDT)
Network with eye banking peers in a virtual ball room. Join a table and meet a few new friends!

Rockstar Social Hour: Thursday, June 10 (5:30 pm – 6:30 pm EDT)
Attendees will tap into their inner rockstars with this social event. Musicians from SongDivision will entertain the group while also facilitating discussions and networking opportunities. All attendees are encouraged to attend!

Physician Discussion: Saturday, June 12 (1:15 pm – 2:15 pm EDT)
Physician attendees are invited to join for this highly anticipated discussion of interesting clinical cases.

Can attendees ask questions for the speakers to answer?


Yes, there will be Q&A sessions after groups of presentations. Enter your questions into the chat box and the Moderators will ask the questions if they have time.

Can attendees who are not physicians attend the Physician Discussion?


No, the Physician Discussion is designed for physicians to discuss clinical cases among peers.
